Great Lakes Seaway Trail Lighthouses
Some of the unexpected treasures I've found when navigating the scenic byway Great Lakes Seaway Trail from Niagara Falls to Alexandria Village - historic lighthouses! I have missed some because I didn't really plan for this, just something out of the blue when checking what to see along the route from google maps.

There are more than 20 historic lighthouses on the Great Lakes Seaway Trail, and these are just the few I have seen on this road trip. I have missed some, which is enough to keep a note to myself to plan for it and see all of them next time.
Besides these lighthouse detours, I have found other treasures on this road trip and wrote a story about it - A Road Trip Story.
